X-Ray

An X-ray is a photographic or digital image of the internal composition or part of the body. It is the most common imaging technology.

Fluoroscopy

Fluoroscopy is a type of medical imaging that shows a continuous X-ray image on a monitor, much like an X-ray movie. During a fluoroscopy procedure, an X-ray beam is passed through the body. The image is transmitted to a monitor so the movement of an instrument or contrast agent can be seen in real time.

CT

A computerized tomography (CT) scan combines a series of X-ray images taken from different angles and uses computer processing to create cross-sectional images, or slices, of the bones, blood vessels and soft tissues inside your body.

MRI

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) does not use x-rays to form an image. The MRI uses radio waves and magnets to interact with water molecules inside your body to form an image.
